We are pleased to announce that the 8th European Nanomanipulation Workshop will be held in Kraków, Poland, from 15 till 17 May 2023.
The Workshop is organized by the Centre for Nanometer-scale Science and Advanced Materials, NANOSAM, of the
Faculty of Physics, Astronomy, and Applied Computer Sciences, Jagiellonian University in Krakow,
This event follows the 1st Workshop in Cascais (Portugal), 2nd in Tartu
(Estonia), 3rd in Madrid (Spain), 4th in Kraków (Poland), 5th in
Mulhouse (France), 6th in Giessen (Germany), and 7th in Jena (Germany).
The overall focus of the series of the Workshops is to bring together scientists who are active in the field of
controlled manipulation of atoms, clusters, and nanoscale objects using scanning probe techniques or other related techniques.
This includes basic techniques of manipulation, theoretical description of manipulation processes as well as applications
ranging from nano- and mesoscale friction to automatic assembly of nano-objects.
Deadline for the abstracts submission: February 28, 2023.
It is already possible to register using the form on the website of the Workshop (the early registration
deadline is 24.03.2023).
